A sufficient turnout saw scores for Target Rifle, F-Class and Sporter/Hunter being accumulated for the first grade shoot of the 2025-2026 season.
The wind was a strong, inconsistent nor’wester tailwind over the right shoulder. Most stages saw a rapid changing of 9 down to 6 right, with everything in between. Many points were lost either side.
However Sydney was not alone in it’s grief, with all other clubs suffering a similar fate. To give perspective, out of all clubs present, not a single possible was achieved across all categories!
With Nick Hocking leading the charge as head wind coach, SRC put up a commendable defense!
